1913 August – “The Mojis”–such is the title of a troupe of Japanese top-spinners who produce “the great slide for life.” From the element of danger which it provides it is sure to he attractive, and last night at the “houses” after a few minutes tense silence, vented their opinion in no uncertain manner. The feat consists of a rope fastened from the gallery to the stage, up which the performer walks blind-folded and then slides down at a tremendous speed. ” The Mojis” got a splendid reception.
