1928 April – . A clever Japanese juggler, Taro Naito, kept a double-headed cane in whirling suspension with taps from sticks held in either hand, swung two scale pans filled with water with snake-like contortions round about himself without spilling a spot, and then, with nimble pliant feet, turned and spun a large barrel in mid-air.
