1914 Went to America from Britain with the Yamagata Troupe – depart on SS New York from Liverpool: Iwao Takashi Yamagata aged 30, married, Mineji Katagiri 28, Yamaji Kobayashi 24, Tatsugoro Shimizu 25, Seijiro Emori 19, Ryunosuke Iizuka 22, Ryotaro or Rintaro Shimizu 16, Takaji or Takejiro Kurozawa 16, Kimi Shimoyama 16 (female).

1917 May – is witness to the marriage of Jujiro Deguchi to Margaret Blanchard at St Margaret’s Church, Burnley.

1918 daughter Yurika born, with Gertrude Minnie Jones – the half sister of Margaret and Lily Blanchard, whose stepfather is Jujiro Deguchi of the Deguchi Troupe

1919 January – daughter Omasu born in Blackburn

1941 January – The 3 Iizuka 3 – it’s pronounced success – Empire Wood Green – performing in Britain to November

1942 February – Empire, Nottingham in a group performance “They’re Here Again”

1942 March – Birmingham – The Java Brothers demonstrate that acrobatics aground can be as fraught with risk as manoeuvres aloft.

1942 May – The Java Brothers, a high-spirited acrobatic trio, provide the ideal opening item, and their litheness makes extremely difficult hand balancing appear quite easy

1942 July – Kuranosuke joined The Queen’s Royal Regiment (West Surrey) – General Service Corps. Transferred to Dorsets 1946

1942 September – The Java Brothers display new feats on skates – Halifax

1943 January – The Java Brothers are an unusually good trio of equilibrists

1943 June – The Java Brothers are clever acrobats who introduce hand skating and other sensational equilibristic feats with much success – Walthamstow

1943 August – The Java Brothers are the best pair of equilibrists that have been seen for some time – Chester

1943 December – The two Pekin Policemen are played by the Java Brothers and score also in their speciality number – Aladdin – Harrow.

1944 October – In a more strenuous way the Java Brothers perform exciting feats of gymnastic trickery – Manchester

1945 September – On the purely acrobatic side, the Java Brothers have a fascinating act, including roller skating while standing on the hands

1945 December – calls for Iizuka Bros for Oxford New.

1946 June – rounds of applause punctuate the act the Java Brothers, whose balancing feats have be seen to be believed. The pair are as much at home on their hands most people are on their feet and some of their feats are marvels of muscular skill and dexterity – Skegness

1947 January – One particularly enjoyable speciality act is that of the Java Brothers, who in addition to appearing as the Chinese policemen, give a remarkable display of acrobatics – Harrogate

1948 August – the balancing feats of the two Java Brothers – Eastbourne

1949 August – Making their first public stage appearance in Burnley, their home town, are the Java Brothers, who present a unique balancing act.

1950 through to December The Java Brothers give a vigorous display of tumbling and balancing, concluding with roller- skating on the hands.

1954 Ryunoske’s sons Kuranosuke and Ryunosuke jnr (?) start performing as the Kendor Brothers.

1964 Ryunosuke snr’s son Kuranosuke “Kira” dies in Burnley aged 42. Notice in The Stage from the Deguchi family and Victor Seaforth in 1966 and 1967.
