1866 October – departed Yokohama for San Francisco with the Tetsuwari troupe on British brig Alert.

Burgess share of Tetsuwari bought out by Thomas Maguire to be his “left wing”.

1867 March – on the Hermann from San Francisco to Yokohama with Baldwin, Blekman, Brower, Marshall

1867 September – on the Colorado from Yokohama to San Francisco with Brower, Da Roza, Baldwin, Hayatake troupe. Capt GW Burgess – for New York.

1868 August – with Marshall and Doyle and Mikado troupe

1870 – married Sophia Carey?

1872 died in Yokohama – buried in foreign cemetery – Freemasonry symbol on gravestone
