1912 July – Fuji Troupe of six Japanese gymnasts have made their first appearance in Yarmouth. One of the younger members of the troupe is particularly clever, and juggles with a set of balls whilst balancing himself on one hand. Balancing on ladders.

1913 November – Takahashi Matsutaro dies from TB. Was living with his cousin in Hornsey, jumped out of the window thinking the house was on fire when asleep. Died in the infirmary.

1915 April – The famous Fuji family are a troupe of the most skilful jugglers and balancers it has been our pleasure to see. On the triple ladder and the balancing pole they simple leave the audience breathless
1915 April – Edinburgh – There was nothing more interesting in the entertainment, however, than the performance of the Fuji family Japanese equilibrists. Their feats of balancing were exceptionally clever, especially that which one them manoeuvred upon eccentric ladder supported on the shoulder of another of the troupe. Their “turn” closed with daring ascent by of the men upon tight rope from the stage to the gallery. He walked briskly up, and then slid rapidly backwards. The “house” applauded the performance heartily.
