1950 through to December The Java Brothers give a vigorous display of tumbling and balancing, concluding with roller- skating on the hands.

1951 May – Taro Naito – the unusual juggler – Hippodrome, Margate – performs through to 1956. No mention of being Japanese.

1952 Jujiro and Sumako Deguchi start own act as Johnny and Suma Lamonte.

1952 October 4th – Mizuhara Gintarō died aged 77 of chronic bronchitis and heart failure at his home. Buried with Isabella in an unmarked grave in Hammersmith New Cemetery, Mortlake.

1953 June – Johnny and Suma Lamonte first appearance at London Palladium as part of Al Martino bill

1954 Taro Naito, a clever little man from the Orient, who, besides indulging in the orthodox forms of balancing, goes down on his back and goes through a smart routine balancing a barrel on his feet.

1954 Ryunoske Iizuka’s sons Kuranosuke and Ryunosuke jnr (?) start performing as the Kendor Brothers.

1954 June – The Kendor Brothers, who followed, have a smart and slickly presented act of musical and acrobatic novelties that is a little inclined to fall between the two widely divergent stools

1954 September – the Kendor Brothers turning in some unusual acrobatic feats, not to mention the pleasant musical side of their act – Sunderland

1955 Oriental looking Londoners Johnny and Suma Lamonte at Blackpool, the at London Palladium supporting Eddie Fisher.

1955 February – Kendor Brothers – two energetic young men with musical and athletic talent – Birmingham

1955 July – The Kendor Brothers combined the music of the electric guitar and clarinet with fine acrobatic balancing. Eastbourne

1956 November – The Kendor Brothers start off as very acceptable musicians, then switch to table-top acrobatics, hand- balancing on roller-skates, and other feats. A sustained and original presentation. Finsbury

1956 Sumako Deguchi marries Victor Seaforth, another performer, who became known as the man with a 1000 voices.

1957 April – Kuranosuke Iiizuka marries Judith Lambert

1957 July – Novel, too, is the versatility that enables the likeable young Kendor Brothers to perform equally well as instrumentalists and as nimble acrobats.

1958-1959 Kendor Brothers – acrobatic instrumentalists
